Maha: Former MLA Prof Sharad Patil passes away

He was 81. Patil, a senior Samajwadi leader, was elected two times from the Miraj assembly constituencies of this district in 1990 and 1995 on the Janata Dal ticket and later again from the graduate constituency on the state legislature council, defeating Prakash Javadekar.
