Pune:Four members of a family committed suicide in their house in the Keshavnagar area of Mundhwa pune late last night, said a police.
The deceased have been identified as Deepak Pundalik Thote (age 59), Indu Deepak Thote (age 45), Rishikesh Deepak Thote (age 24), Samiksha Deepak Thote (age 16).
The incident took place in the vicinity of Janseva Bank in Keshavnagar, Mundhwa area.
This incident came to light late last night and Local police have reached the spot.
Thote’s was running a company name money dot com, but he suffered major losses. Preliminary information has revealed that four members of the family committed suicide due to financial loss in this company. The bodies have been sent to government run Sassoon Hospital for post mortem.
Suicide is suspected due to financial crisis, but the exact reason will be clear after the medical examination, informed Ajit Lakde, police inspector of Mundhwa police station.
“No suicide note has been found yet. We are investigating the cause of the suicide and as per initial information, the family has suffered some financial loss, police added.
