Patna: Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Rajyasabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi alleged that at the behest of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav a conspiracy has been hatched to exclude more than dozens of caste including Teli, Tamoli, Chaurasia, Dangi from the extremely backward category.
Modi said here on Monday that the BJP would not let such conspiracy succeed in its mission and would give a befitting reply.
He said in the survey the Vaishya and Kushwaha caste have been segregated and the intention to show them in lesser number had been exposed in the recently released caste survey report.
He alleged that the state government was using several means to exploit the extremely backward caste which did not vote for the grand alliance.
The BJP MP said that several upper castes in Muslims have been included in the EBC category and were getting the reservation facility. He said such upper caste of Muslims should be excluded from the EBC category to protect the genuine rights of the backward Muslims.
