Shimla:Mainly sunny weather triggered avalanche in Lahaul Subdivision of Lahaul-Spiti district on Sunday state disaster Management authority reveled that there is possibility of some labour being hit by an avalanche.
The rescue team of Police and medical staff have been moved to incident site. Spokesperson confirming the Avalanche said that timing of avalanche could not confirmed as it hit in the day today.
This is about eighth such incidents in Lahaul-Spiti, Chamba and Kinnuar district of the state. During inclement weather and poor quality of construction two bridges were collapsed in Chamba district in last two days in which a Tuck driver died. Meanwhile the day temperature went several year degres above normal as Una was highest of this winter season recorded 27.8 degrees today snd 5.8 degree above normal.
