Kayakalp awardees of Meghalaya felicitated

Shillong: Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. M Ampareen Lyngdoh along with the Commissioner and Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Joram Beda and Secretary Health and Family Welfare, Ram Kumar S felicitated the Kayakalp Awardees of the state on Tuesday.

In her address, Dr. M Ampareen Lyngdoh urged the awardees to deliver the best healthcare services to the people of Meghalaya; the award in itself is recognition of your hard work. You are reaching out to the citizens and providing them with these crucial services.

Lyngdoh expressed her gratitude to all stakeholders who are part of the healthcare system and said that better health services will be provided to the people across the state. She urged them to carry on the work with dedication and to render relentless service for the well being of the community and to improve the overall health scenario in the state.

Addressing the gathering, Commissioner and Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Joram Beda said the awards are only a testament to the efforts that they have put in and this is a collaborative effort.

He further said that Meghalaya is now categorized as the front runner in healthcare service delivery and all of this is because of the staff and their efforts. He expresses his gratitude to all for helping the state government to achieve it.
