Imphal: Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) organised a joint conference of security forces including reps of the Indian Army, CRPF and Police with village representatives at Waroiching, Bishnupur district on 01 Nov 2023 to materialize measures for an incident-free harvesting season.
The primary aim of the conference was to enable the villagers to harvest their hard-earned produce, the various stakeholders chalked out a comprehensive plan including the schedule of harvest and demarcation of areas for security responsibility. Thereafter, a joint recce of the area was done by the column commanders to further reinforce the plan.
Assam Rifles has been carrying out such coordination activities with various security forces in order to carry out tasks contributing towards restoration of peace and harmony in the state.
