Jiribam: Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam Krishna Kumar, IAS stated that District Level Officers and officials of various line departments should focus on performance in addition to discharging their normal duties. This was stated by him while chairing a District Level Officers’ Meeting which was held today at the Conference Hall of DC Jiribam.
During the meeting, Krishna Kumar reviewed various schemes and programmes taken up by different line departments through power point presentations. Stating that the small initiatives taken up by each officer could help in the holistic development of the District, he added that each and every staff should station in their place of posting and provide their services up to every possible extent to the whole area of the district.
Highlighting that the District Administration is always ready to provide every possible help, the DC stated that any officer should bring to the notice of the District Administration if they face any issue while rendering their services.
Asserting that awareness of every scheme and programme should be given priority, Krishna Kumar stated that every department should focus on organizing awareness programmes in different areas of the district so as to make the public aware about the new schemes and programmes of the Government rather than confining themselves to their respective offices.
The DLO meeting was attended by Addl. Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Th. Manoranjan, Sub-Divisional Officer Jiribam/ Borobekra, Laishram Roshan, BDOs, SDCs and various district level officers.
