Hyderabad: Actor turned politician and Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday said that the party will contest 25-40 assembly and 7-14 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana in the next elections.
Speaking at the State Party Executive Committee meeting held at Nachupally in Jagtial district, Pawan gave necessary directions to the party leaders.
He said that the party will contest in limited seats in Telangana. Janasena to contest 25-40 assembly and 7-14 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana in the next election. A decision will be taken only after an in-depth study of the state’s problems, he said.
Pawan said that he is happy if any party in Telangana ally with Janasena. ” I am not in a position to give a message to the people of Telangana. I am in a position to learn from Telangana people”, he added.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said that there has been more development in Telangana as compared to Andhra Pradesh. He opined that the problems of Telangana and Andhra are different, both cannot be compared.
Pawan was furious that the Varahi vehicle was not given permission in Andhra Pradesh only for political reasons.
Earlier, Pawan offered prayers to Kodagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple in Jagitial district of Telangana.
On his arrival at the Temple, the temple priests welcomed Pawan Kalyan with Poornakumbham. Later he performed special poojas to Anjaneyaswamy.
On the occasion, the temple priests also performed poojas to the new campaign vehicle ” Varahi ” of Pawan Kalyan .
Pawan Kalyan has a lot of devotion to Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy. Before any programme, he performs pooja in the temple of Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy.
In the process, Pawan Kalyan performed pooja of his new campaign vehicle “Varahi”.
A large number of Janasena party activists and fans of Pawan Kalyan reached Kondagattu and gave a warm welcome.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan made it clear that a decision on alliances will be taken during the elections itself.
Pawan Kalyan said that people’s faith in the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government in Andhra Pradesh is waning.
