Kabul: The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the deadly suicide bombings outside Kabul airport on Thursday that killed 60 people, including 12 US troops, and left dozens wounded.
The jihadist group said on its Telegram account that it was behind the attack.
ISIS has identified the suicide bomber as Abdulrahman al-Logari, and said he was less than five meters away from US soldiers when he detonated a suicide vest. The bombings also left around 140 people, including 15 US troops, wounded, many critically.
