New Delhi: The Indian Navy has announced the launch of its flagship event, THINQ2024 – The Indian Navy Quiz, a distinctive national-level quiz competition.

This event offers a unique platform for nurturing intellectual growth, inspiring young minds, and instilling a sense of pride and patriotism in India’s rich cultural heritage.

The success of the previous editions, THINQ-22 and G20 THINQ (which saw participation from G20 countries last year), has encouraged the Indian Navy to continue this initiative.

This year’s theme for THINQ2024 is ‘Viksit Bharat,’ aligning with the Government of India’s vision to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, marking the 100th year of independence. The competition aims not only to test students’ general awareness but also to ignite young minds and spread awareness about their role in nation-building and achieving greater heights.

The event promises an intellectually stimulating experience for thousands of young minds. Open to all students from Class 9 to 12 across the country, the competition will be conducted in a hybrid mode and will unfold in four stages, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of participants.

The first two stages will commence online with three elimination rounds followed by a zonal selection round. The top 16 teams will qualify for the Zonal selection rounds and progress to the semifinals. Eight teams from the semifinals will qualify for the Grand Finale, which will be conducted offline at the Southern Naval Command. Exciting prizes await the winners of this prestigious competition.

To facilitate seamless registration for schools and provide comprehensive event-related information, a dedicated website for THINQ2024, www.indiannavythinq.in, was launched on July 15, 2024.
