Mumbai: An Indian Navy helicopter crashed off Mumbai coast on Wednesday, following a technical snag, a Navy statement said.

All three crew members onboard, were rescued and are safe

The copter was on routine patrolling duty when it met with the accident.

The Indian Navy issued a statement soon after the incident took place. The statement mentioned that the helicopter experienced a rapid loss of height due to power loss.
