Indian Army extends support to students in Manipur’s Leimaram relief camp

Imphal: The Indian Army reached out to the children at the Leimaram Relief Camp in Bishnupur District of Manipur and provided them the essential study material and stationery. 

The Army is committed to instil peace and harmony in the state of Manipur also recognizing the importance of continuation of education in challenging times. 

The provision of stationery that includes notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential writing materials will assist and motivate the students who are staying in the Relief Camps due to the outburst of incidents since May 2023.

 Education remains a pillar of strength, and these supplies will facilitate continued learning for the residents of the relief camp. Indian Army remains committed to supporting the displaced people in relief camps, according to a press note from the PRO (Defence).
