Indian Army enhances infra of drug rehab centre in Manipur

Kohima: Indian Army constructed a fabricated shelter at the Drug Rehabilitation Centre at Keithelmanbi Colony in Kangpokpi district of Manipur, as part of Operation Sadbhavna, by Red Shield Division. 

This effort aims to support the mission to combat the drug epidemic, plaguing the community and to offer a fresh start to those battling addiction in the state. 

The inauguration and handing over ceremony were attended by local leaders, residents and patients along with their families. Currently, the centre accommodates 40 patients, undergoing various stages of recovery.

This endeavour significantly contributes to the development of the infrastructure at the Rehabilitation Centre, ensuring essential amenities. 

The community members expressed their appreciation to the Army and Red Shield Division for their ongoing support in the region’s development.
