Hamirpur (HP): As many as 136 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Himachal Pradesh till Thursday night and three people succumbed to the virus in the state, a spokesman of the Health department said.
Those who lost their lives included one from Mandi and two from Solan districts respectively.
As many as 174 patients were cured of the disease till last night, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,99,444.
The number of active cases has come down to 1,159, while the total number of positive cases has also gone up to 2,04,098 in the state.
The death toll has now mounted to 3,486, the spokesman added.
