New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday urged to the people of Gujarat to exercise their franchise in the final phase of the Assembly elections.
“My humble request to every citizen of Gujarat to take part in this Parivartan (change) festival. Vote today,” the Congress chief wrote in a tweet.
He also congratulated the first time voters.
Voting is underway in 93 Assembly seats spread across 14 districts in the second phase of Assembly polls.
The counting of votes will take place on December 8.
