Governor Acharya prays for restoration of peace in Manipur

Imphal: As a part of Prime Minister’s initiative for environmental conservation, “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, the Governor of Manipur Lakshman Prasad Acharya planted tree saplings at Raj Bhavan premises in Imphal on Sunday.

The Governor, while emphasizing the need to conserve the environment, urged everyone to participate in this campaign and contribute to building a human friendly lush green environment around us.

In the evening, The Governor went to Shri Shri Govindajee Temple in Palace Compound and attended the Sandhya Aarti (Darshan) ritual there. He prayed for the restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
