Imphal: Expenditure Observer for 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency appointed by the Election Commission of India, Pradhuman Badariprasad Meena, chaired a meeting with the Nodal Officers at the District Election Office, Lamphelpat, Imphal West.
Pradhuman Badariprasad Meena will observe the election expenditure of 13 Assembly Constituencies of Imphal West.
It is worth mentioning that the District Election Office at Lamphelpat, Imphal West, also serves as the Office of the Returning Officer of the 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.
The Nodal Officers briefed Meena regarding the poll preparedness in the district, covering aspects such as flying squads, video surveillance teams, media monitoring committees, and the election expenditure committee for the upcoming General Election for the Lok Sabha in 2024.
The interactive meeting was attended by Nodal Officer for Expenditure Monitoring, N. Khagemba Mangang, Treasury Officer, Lamphel; Nodal Officer for Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) Imphal West, Ningthoujam Roshan Singh, APO (Press), DIPR and other personnel on election duty.
