Elections next year step towards realising our dreams: Bhaichung

Gangtok: Hamro Sikkim Party President Bhaichung Bhutia has said the state needs a true alternative that can provide a clean governance and appealed to the people to vote his party to power in the 2024 state Assembly election,
In an open letter to the people, Bhaichung laid emphasis on ensuring equality and social justice .


Criticising the present and past governments in the state for their “inability” to secure reservation of Nepali and Limboo–Tamang seats in the legislature, Bhaichung also highlighted the importance of Article 371F (that provides special powers to Sikkim) and the need to follow it in letter and spirit.
HSP President appealed to the public to support his party to resolve the issues.


’It is time to wake up and voice our displeasure in unison,” he said.
According to Bhaichung,”Sikkim needs a true alternative that can provide clean governance, fresh people-centric policies and concrete solutions towards addressing the issues that plague Sikkim’,


“We want to create a new political environment, devoid of waiting in long queues to meet elected representatives. create an environment where people do not shy away from challenging the style of governance (of the elected concerned). I want to see Sikkim as the model of a true democratic change, where fundamental duties and rights are upheld maintaining accountability and transparency.


“All Sikkimese are invited to join us to solve the issues of Sikkim by forming the Hamro Sikkim Govt in 2024,he has appealed further.And has also wished Happy Maghey Sankrati’,to all.
