Bhubaneswar: The trial run of Puri- Rourkela Vande Bharat Express was conducted between Puri station and Talcher station on Monday.
This will be the second Vande Bharat Express to run in Odisha, the first being the Puri –Howrah Vande Bharat Express.
East Coast Railway sources said the semi-high-speed train departed the Puri Railway Station at 9.30 AM and reached Talcher at 1230 PM.
The second Vande Bharat Express is likely to be flagged off on September 30.It will run six days a week to cover a distance of 505 kms connecting Coastal Odisha with Western Odisha.
