Imphal: Manipur Police seized drug worth about Rs 1.5 cr near Canchipur here on Tuesday night.
Police on Wednesday said a Special Commando Unit, Khabeisoi conducted an operation and nabbed a man identified as Md. Abdur Rahaman along with 2 Kg of opium which was worth about Rs 1.5 crore.
He was using a car to transport the opium. He was nabbed and handed over to Singjamei Police Station for further legal action, police said.
