Mumbai : On the occasion of the ongoing Jatra (Festival of pilgrimage) of Prabhadevi in Mumbai, the Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Dr Neelam Gorhe took the Darshan of Mata Prabhadevi (Goddess Shakti). Mata Prabhadevi is very popular deity in the Mumbai region.
Dr Gorhe took Darshan of the goddess and offered a saree and performed the Aarti there today evening.
The large number of Shiv Sainiks were present on the occasion and they also performed Puja with enthusiasm atmosphere.
After inspecting the temple arrangement, she interacted with the Marathi shopkeepers there about their business activities.
Dr Gorhe also visited Shiv Sena branch number 193 which is situated near to the temple.
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Bhagat welcomed her by presenting a Shwal and coconut. Suryakant Birje, Rekha Devkar, Jyoti Bhosle, Laxman Bhosle Kirti Maske, Sanjana Patil, Vaishnavi Fodkar and many other Shiv Sainiks were present on the occasion.
