Covid: Tuesday sees 14 positive cases, 10 recoveries in Manipur

Imphal: No Covid related death in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Tuesday. During the same period, 14 persons tested positive and 10 persons recovered, as per an official release from the Health Department.

Of the 14 persons from the general population who tested positive, four are from Imphal West, three from Kakching, two each from Chandel and Imphal East and one each from Kangpokpi, Churachandpur and Ukhrul. 

A total of 1,189 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.2 % 

Meanwhile, of the 10 persons who recovered, seven are from home isolation, two from CCCs and one from RIMS. 

The recovery rate of the state stands at 98.37 %. 

The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 021 out of which 1, 34, 789 have recovered leaving 114 active cases.

The total number of doses administered on March 14, is 4,069, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,55,729 (1st dose 15,29, 708, 2nd dose 11,68, 527) and precautionary dose 63,494.
