Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Thursday, six persons tested positive. During the same period, there were no recoveries and no report of any Covid-related death in the state, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the six persons from the general population who tested positive, three are from Imphal West, two from Kangpokpi and one from Bishnupur. Altogether, 105 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 5.7 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 861. As there were no recoveries on Thursday, the active cases in the state now stand at 28.
As on October 19, 2022, 964 persons were vaccinated, bringing the total number of vaccination to 32,49,682 (1st dose 16,46,337, 2nd dose 13,31,355 and precautionary dose 2,71,990).
