Gangtok: Sikkim reported 152 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of infections to 28706, State Health Department said.
Currently, the state houses 2195 active cases. Out of 28706 total cases, 25871 have been discharged after recovering from the virus. The state death toll stands at 361. No fresh death was recorded in the past 24 hours, said Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education and Communication Officer, Health Department.
On Sunday, the state saw 129 cases and 1 death.
