Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Tuesday, seven persons tested positive. During the same period, one person recovered while there was no report of any Covid-related death in the state, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the seven persons who tested positive, two each are from Imphal East and Kamjong and one each from Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Tengnoupal. Altogether, 174 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 4.0%.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 853. As one person recovered Tuesday, the active cases in the state now stands at 24.
As on October 17, 2022, 718 persons were vaccinated, bringing the total number of vaccination to 32,47,947(1st dose 16,45,982, 2nd dose 13,30,582 and precautionary dose 2,71,383).
