Imphal: Six persons from the general population tested Covid-19 positive while three persons recovered in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Friday. During the same period, there was no report of any death, as per an official press note from the Covid-19 common Control Room.
The six persons (3 males and 3 females) who tested posted include 2 each from Imphal East and Thoubal and 1 each from Kakching and Tengnoupal while of the three persons who recovered, two of them were on home isolation and one was from SHRI. The recovery rate now stands at 98.52%
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,373 (General Population — 25,931 and Central Security Personnel — 3,442). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,939 (General Population — 25,510 and CAPF— 3,429). The number of active cases is 60 (general population 51 and CAPF 9).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on March 25, is 486 and the cumulative vaccination number is 84235, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 31457 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There are no severe reactions/allergies, adverse events following immunization till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them have now fully recovered.
