COVID-19: Arunachal logs 125 new Covid cases; two more deaths

Out of these, 65 patients are asymptomatic and 60 are symptomatic.

Itanagar: As many as 125 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh during the past 24 hours.

Addition of these new cases has taken the state’s caseload to 52,044, while the death toll has risen to 257 as two more succumbed to the disease during the past 24 hours.

Out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest ie 37 cases, Lower Subansiri reported 23 cases and West Siang nine, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.

Out of these, 65 patients are asymptomatic and 60 are symptomatic.
According to the bulletin, out of the fresh casualties, one each was reported from Itanagar Capital Complex and Tawang.

On the other hand, 217 patients were discharged following recovery, taking the total recoveries in the state to 50,317. The recovery rate currently stands at over 96 per cent. The active case tally stands at 1,470.
