Gangtok: Chief Minister PS Tamang has conveyed a condolence message on the demise of Rinpochey in New Delhi on Tuesday.
‘It is with profound sadness that I received the news of the physical renunciation of his dharma body by His Eminence Kyabje Soktse Rinpoche Kunjang Tendzin Gyaltsen of Khechuperi in New Delhi,’ said CM.
‘Kyabje Rinpoche entered the state of ‘Thugdam’, remaining in that state for seven days—an embodiment of Buddha Shakyamuni’s teaching on impermanence.Throughout his life, from studies to practices and teachings, Kyabje Rinpoche exemplified human values, service, and compassion’ said Chief Minister further.
‘With his physical renunciation, Sikkim has lost an invaluable luminary. Alongside the entire people of Sikkim, I earnestly pray for the swift return of his revered reincarnation among us, to continue guiding all sentient beings,’ said CM Tamang.
