Churdhar Yatra closed due to heavy snowfall

Due to rain and snowfall since March 18, all the roads leading to the Churdhar temple have been closed. In such a situation, traveling to Churdhar may be risky. According to the Meteorological Department, this process of snowfall may continue till the first week of April.

Nahan/Shimla(HP): In view of rain in the low lying areas and continuous snowfall in the high altitude areas in Churdhar the district administration has closed Churdhar Yatra and warned legal action against those defying the order.

Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur while appealing to the devotees said that it is for the information of all that due to continuous snowfall in Churdhar all the roads leading to Churdhar have been blocked and traveling is risky. Legal action will be implemented against those who disobey the order, the Deputy Commissioner said.
