Mumbai: Participants from various ranks across eight Zonal railways engaged in a competition spanning various categories of forensic science at the 33rd Inter-Railway RPF ‘Scientific Aids to Investigation’ Competition – 2023 that concluded in Nashik recently.
Hosted by Central Railway at the Zonal Training Centre in Nashik, the event’s primary objective is to elevate the professional standards of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in the realm of investigation and to adopt best practices from their counterparts in the field.conclude with a grand ceremony, a media release said on Friday.
The event was graced by Naresh Lalwani, General Manager of Central Railway.
The competition featured a written test covering subjects such as crime investigation, criminal laws, finger prints, observation, medico-legal tests, and police portraits.Â
