Canchipur: The Lions Clubs of Canchipur Centurion, Canchipur Greater, and Canchipur Palace hosted an official visitation of District Governor Lion Thokchom Kesho Singh, PMJF, at the Department of Physical Education & Sports Science, Manipur University.
The event commenced with a Board of Directors (BOD) meeting with the District Governor, followed by a fellowship session. At 5:00 p.m., dignitaries took their seats, and the proceedings formally began with an invocation and a minute of silence for world peace.
A key highlight of the evening was the Resolution of Appreciation, in which the clubs expressed their deep admiration for the District Governor’s exceptional leadership and selfless service. The resolution, signed by the presidents of the three hosting Lions Clubs, pledged their unwavering support for Lionism and acknowledged his efforts in making this year’s administration an outstanding one in the district’s history.

Support for Local Beneficiaries
As part of their commitment to community service, the Lions Clubs distributed sewing machines and umbrellas to support local vendors and small-scale workers. The beneficiaries included:
