Rio De Janeiro: The death toll from the Novel Coronavirus in Brazil has surpassed the grim milestone of 450,000-mark.
According to the country’s Health Ministry, 2,173 people died due to coronavirus, taking the death toll to 452,031 till Tuesday.
The overall number of infections reached 16,194,209. A total of 73,453 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.
On a positive front, more than 14.6 million people have also recovered.
