Nagpur: A 13 -year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a moving train while chasing a kite on Nagpur-Mumbai railways line passing through Dhantoli Kumbhar area in Maharashtra’s Nagpur city, police said here on Saturday.
The victim identified as Vansh Pravin Dhurve, a resident of Kumbhar area(Dhantoli) in Nagpur.
“The incident took place on Friday when Vansh was pursuing a kite to catch it,” said police.
“Vansh did not notice the running train and he was vigorously hit by it while running after a kite and he died on the spot,” police said.
Dhantoli police have registered a case of accidental death.
