Bengaluru:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday praised the series of tweets by one Subhashini Chandramani showcasing rich flora of Bengaluru in detail, saying the city has a very deep bond with nature including trees and lakes.
Nature lover, gardener and artist, Subhashini Chandramani in her tweet gave detailed description of diverse collection of trees in Bengaluru.
Modi, in his reply to the thread, also urged people from other cities to “showcase such aspects of their towns and cities.”
The Prime Minister tweeted, “This is an interesting thread on Bengaluru and it’s trees. Bengaluru has a very deep bond with nature including trees and lakes.”
Subashini gives detailed information in a 19-thread tweet about Bengaluru having a diverse collection of trees that bloom all year.
She said when the city was planned aeons ago, the trees were chosen in such a way that when one tree ceased blooming, another tree took its place. “Bengaluru’s seasons are a floral symphony,” Subhashini said.
