Shillong: A reception was hosted by the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh, Guwahati on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s Independence and National Day at Asian Confluence, Shillong on March 30, 2021.
Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister, P Tynsong attended the programme as chief guest and chief secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, M S Rao and President, Asian Confluence, Shillong, Dr B B Dutta as the guest of honour.
During the programme, the chief guest along with other dignitaries marked the celebration by cutting the ceremonial cake and also felicitated the Liberation war awardees.
