Imphal: Assam Rifles troopers recovered illegal arms and ammunition in a targeted operation at Moreh, Tengnoupal District on Thursday.
During an Area Domination Patrol in Moreh, Assam Rifles discovered a concealed bag near the Skill Development Centre Building.
Upon examination, the patrol uncovered one 12 Bore Rifle, six rounds of 12 Bore ammunition, and one Rifle Cover.
Acting promptly, the recovered items were handed over to the Moreh Police Station for further investigation, said a press note from the PRO, IGAR(S).
