Chandigarh: An assistant sub inspector and a tout have been arrested in a bribe case in Ambala, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Haryana said on Friday.
An ACB spokesperson said the complainant had alleged that Rajesh, a tout was demanding Rs 30,000 on behalf of ASI Chandiram in lieu of not arresting his family members in a case registered at Sadar police station.
After receiving the complaint, ACB laid the trap and arrested Rajesh accepting the bribe.
Later, on the basis of his statement ASI was also nabbed.
