Arunachal Speaker Sona gets first shot of Covid-19 vaccine

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Pasang Dorjee Sona was administered the first shot of a Covid-19 vaccine at a hospital here on Wednesday.

The Speaker took the dose of Covishield at the Rama Krishna Mission Hospital.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Sona wrote, “Got my first dose of the vaccine #Covishield at RKM Hospital, Itanagar today. I encourage everyone eligible to get the shot as vaccination is the only weapon we have, to fight against the virus. I also appeal everyone to strictly follow SOPs.”
