Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday reported 69 fresh Covid19 cases pushing its tally of confirmed cases to 65,893, a senior health official said.
On the other hand, 86 Covid patients have recovered from the disease during the past 24 hours that taking the total number of recoveries to 65,164, State Surveillance Officer, IDSP, Dr. Lobsang Jampa said.
With no fresh casualties reported during the period, the state’s Covid death toll remained unchanged at 296, he said.
Of the new infections, 18 were detected in Dibang Valley, 12 in Upper Siang, and 11 in Namsai, while five cases each came from Changlang and Lower Subansiri, and four from Itanagar Capital Complex.
Twenty-seven of the total cases turned out to be symptomatic and 42 asymptomatic.
The State tested 431 samples for Covid19 testing during the last 24 hours which took the cumulative count to 12,83,381.
Arunachal Pradesh presently has 433 active Covid cases comprising 0.66 percent of the total cases, while the recovery rate stood at 98.89 percent and the death rate remained at 0.45
percent.
