Arunachal reports 298 new Covid cases; two succumb

On a positive note, 298 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 31,487.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 caseload tally rose to 34,214 as 298 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while two more succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll to 162.

Out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 68, followed by West Kameng 29 and Namsai 22, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.

Barring 117, all the patients are asymptomatic.

According to the bulletin, of the two casualties, both were reported from the Lohit district on Wednesday.

On a positive note, 298 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 31,487.

Active cases stood at 2,565.
