Itanagar: As many as 399 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s infection count to 38,682.
The death toll rose to 185 as one more succumbed to the virus.
Of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 109, followed by East Siang 42 and Changlang 29, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.
Of these, 227 patients are asymptomatic and 172 symptomatic.
According to the bulletin, the fresh casualty was reported from Itanagar Capital Complex. A 52-year-old woman passed away on Wednesday evening at her residence. She died due to acute respiratory distress syndrome with Covid pneumonia.
A total of 301 patients were discharged across the state, which pushed the recovery tall to 3,5037.
Active cases tally stands at 3,460.
