Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 infection tally rose to 52,525 as 116 people have tested positive for the virus during the past 24 hours.
According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the maximum at 48, followed by Lower Subansiri 13 and Tawang seven.
Of these, 59 patients are asymptomatic and 57 symptomatic.
As per the bulletin, 81 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 51,104. The recovery rate is over 97 per cent.
Active cases tally stands at 1,162. Death toll at 259.
