Imphal: Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a relief distribution and medical camp at Songdo for inhabitants of various relief camps of Churachandpur district, Manipur.
The relief camp inhabitants face difficulties due to the scarcity of basic amenities and medical facilities. In recognition of these needs the subject camp was organised to provide solace to the camp inhabitants during these difficult times.
A total of around 30 families were provided relief material consisting of supplies and utensils and they also underwent basic medical checkups.
The families expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the unwavering support by the Assam Rifles during the challenging times, said a press note from the PRO, IGAR(S).
