Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from today to Sunday.
Rain occurred at few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema while dry weather prevailed in Yanam of Puducherry during the last 24 hours, the report added.
