Ankara: A number of countries have expressed support for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s proposal to hold an international peace conference on the Gaza Strip in Turkey, a diplomatic source told Sputnik.
“After Erdogan’s statement, we received messages through diplomatic channels from a number of regional countries supporting this idea.
On the instructions of President, work is underway in this direction. We hope to implement this initiative very soon,” the source said.
