Agartala:The Union Home Minister on Thursday after flagging off Jana Biswas Yatra on chariot at Dharmanagar in North Tripura called second BJP government for the welfare and prosperity of the state.
Addressing a massive rally Saha said the BJP government has brought transparency in the governance, and in five years it had worked for all sections of the society, which made a visible change in Tripura.
“The Congress has no existence in the country and communist is an eroded force but they are dreaming to come to power beating the people government runs under Narendra Modi’s leadership which will not possible,” Saha said.
He pointed out that the BJP government in Tripura has given salary as per the Central government norms with all benefits, 13 lakh people were brought under health insurance coverage, 4.5 lakh families were provided water connections, free gas and power supply have also been given to poor people, Saha stated.
“The tribals have got back their right to live with dignity under BJP rule, 25 years old sufferings of 34 lakh Brus is ended, peace brought back after pact with banned outfit NLFT, infrastructure and investment have got a new phase,” he added.
