Imphal: In a shocking incident that occurred around 7:30 am, Meitei Leepun leader Pramot Singh narrowly escaped harm when unknown miscreants opened fire on his vehicle near SHIJA hospital, Langol Lamkhai, Imphal West.
The attack took place while Pramot Singh was traveling with his driver in a Bolero. The vehicle sustained damage from six bullets, but both occupants emerged unharmed. Local authorities have registered a case in connection with the incident as investigations into the attack are ongoing.
The motives behind the attack remain unclear at this time, but it has raised concerns about the safety of the Meitei Leepun leader and the security situation in the region. Promot is not available for comment at this point.
