Gangtok: Chief Minister announced that Corona Vaccination for 18 plus would be started from 16th May across the State and it would be a great relief to the society.
Addressing a meeting of Additional District Collectors (Development) and Block Development officers , he expressed concern for those under treatment. They apprised him about the situation at the grassroots level. ‘COVID 19 patients under treatment at their homes will be delivered medical kits with instructions written in English and Nepali, said CM Tamang.
He has said BDOs and ADCs will be provided grants of Rs 50 Thousand each for monitoring Corona cases in the area under their respective jurisdiction. From this year onward, they will also be given Rs 7 Lakh to ADCs and Rs 5 Lak to the BDOs as discretionary fund to be used during emergency and calamities.
