Churachandpur: District Administration, Churachandpur in coordination with the concerned SDO/BDOs of Sangaikot ; Kangvai, Saikot; Tuibong and Lamka TD Block today organized week-wise thematic campaign on the theme, “ Financial Inclusion & Skill Development- Vittiya Samaveshan Evam Kaushal Vikas Sewa” across 5 Adi Sewa Kendras in Churachandpur District.
The facilitation camps were held simultaneously at Dongjang Village, Sangaikot Block; at Kangvai, Kangvai Block; at Saidan Community Hall, Saikot Block; at Songpi Village, Tuibong Block and at Chiengkonpang for Lamka TD Block. The programmes were held in convergence with line departments of the Blocks, witnessing substantial turnout from villagers, women Self-Help Groups (SHGs), farmers and aspiring youth.
During the camps held at various ASKs, officials from Lead Bank, PNB and Central Bank of India helped villagers open formal bank accounts and also gave awareness on developing savings habits and enrolling in APY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and SSY for a secure future. DIC made local entrepreneurs aware of how Udyam Registration under RAMP Project can open doors to bank loans, government subsidies, schemes and market support for their small businesses.
MSRLM made tribal youth aware of skill training opportunities and how artisans, SHGs and farmers can grow through institutional credit, Van Dhan initiatives and entrepreneurship. MSPDCL made villagers aware of Rooftop Solar under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, where 7 beneficiaries enrolled for Rooftop Solar.
Forest Department made villagers aware of the need to protect ecology, prevent wildfires in hill areas, form a Village Forest Fire Committee in every village, and increase green cover through plantation during the programmes.
The camps concluded successfully with active participation from line departments staff, all sections of the community, reflecting the growing awareness among villagers on financial inclusion, skill development and sustainable livelihoods. The programme will continue in the coming days on the topic “Education & Social Development – Siksha Evam Samajik Vikas Sewa”.
