Churachandpur: In continuation of the free health check-up drive for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), District Administration, Churachandpur today organized medical camps as part of the month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”.
The camps were conducted under the overall supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ph. Henkhoneng Mate.
A team led by Dr. Lalboi Haokip visited the Prefabricated Relief Camp at Torbung (Market Shed) under Kangvai Sub-Division, which presently accommodates 39 families. 28 inmates were examined and provided free medicines as per requirement.
Similarly, under the guidance of Dr. Kimboi Vaiphei, health check-ups were continued at Saikot ITI and Saikot SDO Complex Relief Camps, Saikot Sub-Division. These camps currently house 37 households with 189 inmates, out of which around 47 inmates were examined and given free medicines.
The District Administration will continue to carry out such health monitoring visits to ensure the well-being of all inmates staying in relief camps across the district.
